Rebound is a mobile application developed to aid in the recovery process following trauma. The aftermath of a traumatic experience often leads our minds and bodies to remain in a state of heightened alert, commonly known as fight, flight, or freeze mode. Due to the distinct way our brains process trauma, the effects of the event can persist long after its occurrence, resulting in symptoms such as hypervigilance, anxiety, emotional sensitivity, emotional detachment, and other manifestations rooted in unresolved trauma.
Designed by a team comprising both trauma survivors and psychologists, Rebound functions by assisting individuals in transitioning their brains out of "emergency mode" through the guided reprocessing of underlying traumatic memories.
